Well, 2020 was certainly a different kind of year for us all! Despite the difficulties and challenges every business and individual has faced over the past year, here at Swift we have still managed to find lots of reasons to smile!
Our Growing Swift Family
We’re proud to say we are a family business and during 2020 our family grew with three very welcome new members of staff!
Matt Leighton was the first of our new additions to the team, filling the role of ‘Construction Manager.’ Matt looks after our amazing installation teams and coordinates all of our builds. He’s had the very tricky task of delivering builds on time and within budget, especially with the unpredictable nature of our supply chains during lockdowns and restrictions. He has done amazingly well to overcome many of the challenges, which were out of our control.
Jay Jeavons was the next to join our Swift team, filling the role of Area Manager for the North. To be able to keep up with the increased enquiries, we needed additional help to assist our clients’ dream to own and enjoy a Swift life-changing garden room. Jay has stepped in to his role with energy and dedication, designing and creating some truly amazing buildings.
Last, but by no means least, Hayley Kan-Hai joined our administration team as Lead Customer Support. Hayley is usually the first point of contact for all our clients. With her organization skills and ‘military precision’, Hayley has been a very welcome addition to the family and a pleasure to have around.
Life-Changing Spaces
2020 has also seen many of our clients’ dreams come to life in the form of their Swift buildings. The collaboration of ideas and design detail has been remarkable. Together our teams have built a brilliant selection of bespoke spaces. All Swift buildings are fully insulated and built to last, whilst having the added benefit of our independent warranty.

Throughout the year our garden gyms have provided many private and safe, workout spaces – a fabulous addition to the family home.
Our garden annexes were also a popular choice in 2020! We also helped to bring to life a classroom, music studio and our very first home baking studio! How sweet is that!
